My wife June found your site while researching my family history in
Washington. I don’t know if you remember me JEFF WATSON. I attended
the Washington Grammar School from 1959 to 1964. I would love to hear

My father
George Watson was a miner at the Glebe Pit in Washington, retiring after
48 years of service. Dad had five brothers who were all miners in Washington.
He vowed I would never be allowed to go down the pit!
